Tim Hay is the president of the Fly Salem Foundation where he provides the leadership in promoting the mission of the foundation. He also doubles as the treasurer. Tim was also the chairman of the Salem Airport Advisory Commission where he was instrumental in bringing Delta Air Lines to Salem. He also assisted with grant applications and led the subgroups for updating the airport hangar lease agreements, rules and regulations and the City charter that governs the Airport. In his professional career, Tim works for a software company that specializes in government procurement and has over 25 years working public and private procurement.
Bill has worked in an Executive Leadership role for both non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses for more than 30 years. He is a C-suite leader with a proven track record of success. Bill has extensive experience and expertise in the following areas: recruitment, leadership development, board formation, recruitment, and development,
strategic planning, construction and renovation, operations, and fundraising. He is a CFRE fundraising professional with over two decades of fundraising experience. Bill has led and participated directly in the effort to raise over $750 million in donated dollars. He has also helped start and served on several Boards of Directors including, The Anthony Munoz Foundation, Athletes in Action, the Oregon & Southwest Washington Association of Fundraising Professionals, and is currently serving on the Fly Salem Airport Foundation board. Bill is the author of the book, “Game Time Adjustments” and he has a podcast series with the same name.
Pugh attended the University of Maryland on a football scholarship and later went on to play football at the University of Cincinnati where he earned a B.A. in General Studies. He earned his Master of Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio where he graduated with honors. He is a member of the Mariemont High School “Hall of Fame”
class of 1985.
He is married, with four children. His oldest son is a retired Air Force Captain, who is currently a Cyber Security Analyst at Amazon AWS. His daughter completed her B.S. in Nursing with honors and is an Oncology Nurse. His second son recently graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and is in Air Force Special Operations training.
Bill’s youngest son recently graduated from New Mexico Military Academy with honors. Bill enjoys hiking and biking, is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys traveling.
